Bloodwynd

+ History
Bloodwynd is a strange mystic who appeared to the JLA in Justice League America #62. Several heroes expressed reservations about him, but he nonetheless invited to join Superman's new League. (#63) Perhaps he gave some a weird vibe because in truth, he was J'onn J'onzz! However, J'onn's consciousness had been submerged by Bloodwynd's psyche. This was demonstrated when Bloodwynd demonstrated that he didn't know how to work the monitor board. So it was Bloodwynd in mind if not truly in body who joined the JLA.
After several adventures, it was discovered (#77) that J'onn had accidentally bonded with Bloodwynd upon finding him injured. J'onn had assumed the physical form and manner of Bloodwynd and Bloodwynd himself was transported to the inside of his "Blood Gem." They were eventually separated (#77) and Bloodwynd remained with the League only until the battle against the Overmaster.
For reasons which remained mysterious, Bloodwynd's personal mission became conflicted during the battle with the Overmaster. (JLA #88) He declined loyalty to either side and disappeared (effectively resigning). (JLTF #14)
He has only appeared sporadically since then, usually alongside other members of the magical community or the Sentinels of Magic.
